Recent changes

SPACEWatch 6 is the current version of SPACEWatch Desktop, Server and Enterprise Editions. This is a major version update. Click a screenshot on the left to see it in action. Updating your installation

To update your SPACEWatch installation:

• Download the most recent software
• Uninstall your current installation (Settings - Add/Remove Programs)
• Run the downloaded program and follow the on-screen instructions - remember to install SPACEWatch into the same location (e.g. C:\Program Files\SPACEWatch)

System Requirements

SPACEWatch pro is a Windows application and is supported on Windows 2000, 2003 and XP. There are no special hardware requirements, however SPACEWatch pro is a database application, so for optimum performance we recommend more than minimum memory for the Windows version you are using.

For full function on Netware networks you will need a Novell Client. For full function on IBM Lotus networks you will need a Lotus Notes 5.0.2b or later client.

Change History

You can check your version by looking on the Help - About window or using Explorer to display the properties of swatch.exe and clicking on the Version tab. The table below tells you a little about recent updates to SPACEWatch. Click on the diamonds to see more detail about a particular release. If you have a licence for SPACEWatch you can download and install any minor version updates without buying a new licence - simply download the software from this site:

			ASHE-73YELZ	Enterprise/Domino/Exchange: You can now run multiple instances of SPACEWatch logged in as different users on the same machine - e.g. if you wish to scan different systems with different access levels for each.
			ASHE-73YEMX	Exchange: ASM and SPACEWatch for Exchange file actopns such as Copy/Move/Delete are now supported for files stored in Exchange mailboxes and public folders.
			ASHE-73YENK	Exchange: In File Finder messages are now highlighted differently to file attachments.
			ASHE-73YEPF	Enterprise/Domino/Exchange: You can now have a timestamp included for each file addition/update to the space database. By default this feature is disabled. To enable it add this to the swatch.ini file: [SpaceWatch] Timestamp=YES. Note if you subsequently turn this option off, the database updates will be removed.
			ASHE-73YEPU	Enterprise/Domino/Exchange: the optional scan/merge completion email notification now contains more detail on each action completed.
			ASHE-73YERL	Enterprise/Domino/Exchange: Two new custom report samples have been included: tree_summary_growth.rpx and storage_growth_last_year.rpx
			ASHE-73YESB	Enterprise/Domino/Exchange: when you manually run a custom report you will now be prompted for an optional argument. This allows you to easily test reports that are automated and have arguments within their scripts.
			ASHE-73YEQM	Domino: Lotus bug in handling file attachment deletion has been fixed.
			ASHE-73YER2	All: an occasional directory find issue in non-English locales has been resolved.
			ASHE-73YET3	Enterprise/Domino/Exchange: some French and French (Suisse) locale issues with SQL Server and Microsoft Windows have been resolved.
